This painting brings me such a sense of calm. I am very fortunate to have spent many nights at Emerald Lake Lodge, and the absolute stillness of this place once all of the crowds have left is just amazing. Places and moments like these bring me so much peace and contentment to just sit and exist, and I hope that’s what this painting expresses.
